Course Description
This course is designed for the new AutoCAD user who requires comprehensive training in AutoCAD. It incorporates the features, commands, and techniques for creating, editing, and printing drawings with AutoCAD® 2008. Hands-on exercises throughout the course explore how to create 2D production drawings.
Prerequisites:
This course is designed for the new AutoCAD 2008 user. No previous CAD experience is necessary. However, drafting, design, or engineering experience is a plus.

Course Description
This course is designed for the experienced AutoCAD® user who requires additional training to enhance their productivity. It incorporates the features, commands, and techniques for managing files, creating consistent drawings, connecting to external databases, and customizing AutoCAD 2008.
This advanced-level course continues to build on the concepts of the AutoCAD 2008 Essentials and AutoCAD 2008 Intermediate courses.
Course Objectives
- The primary objective of this courseware is to teach the student powerful tools and techniques for customizing AutoCAD 2008, file maintenance, collaboration, connecting to external databases, and implementing CAD Standards.
