MCITP Server Administrator (Server 2008)



Course Description: Provides preparation for Server Administrator Certification exams. Students will learn to implement, monitor, and maintain Windows Server 2008 servers. Configuring identity and accessing solutions with Windows Server 2008 Active Directory, as well as implementing networking features and functionalities in Windows Server 2008 is included in the curriculum.  Careers available to MCITP Server Administrators include system administrators, network administrators, information system administrators, network operations analysts, network technicians, and technical support specialists.

Course Objectives: A comprehensive set of skills is required to be successful as a server administrator. Students will learn project management, operations management, and planning. Course is specifically tailored to prepare the student for real life applications and on the job functionality.

- 70-646: Pro: Windows Server 2008, Server Administrator

Prerequisites:Successful previous completion of the MCSA class for Windows 2003, or, MCSE on Windows 2000 Certification or equivalent.
